Intent Gap Analysis

Measure the Gap Between What Your Page Promises and What Your Audience Wants

Your page's meta description is a promise — it tells search engines what the page is about. But the queries people actually use to find it tell a different story.

This tool uses vector embeddings to measure the distance between what your page promises (its meta description) and what your audience searches for (GSC queries). The result is a strategic map placing every query cluster into four quadrants — Defend, Optimize, Create, and Monitor — based on alignment and demand.

Upload the .zip file exported from Google Search Console. We'll scrape the page's meta description and measure the intent gap — the distance between what the page promises and what your audience searches for.

How to export from GSC
  1. Open Google Search Console and navigate to Performance > Search Results
  2. Filter by the page you want to analyze
  3. Click Export and download the CSV (this produces a .zip)
